What To Expect

Being well-prepared for your appointment will ensure that the doctor has all of the needed information to provide the best possible care for you. It also will help relieve any unnecessary anxiety you may be feeling. When you first come to the office be prepared with your insurance information, completed health history and  any questions you might have regarding treatment. This includes any previous dental visits and x-rays from other offices.

On first visits, usually the parent will go back with their child to make them comfortable. In some situations, the hygienist may ask you to leave the room so they can take X-rays. Once the child is comfortable and used to cleanings, we ask you to wait in our waiting room until the treatment is complete. Once the child comes out of the hygiene area they will already have an appointment made for the next recall. Please don't forget to stop at the front desk to make sure there is no payment or return services prescribed by doctor.

We also ask that you confirm 24 hours in advance for all appointments to ensure your time is kept. This request is important to make sure that our staff is utilizing their training and education to best serve your child's needs. Please be aware that there may be a fee for missed or no-show appointments.

Please remember to educate yourself on your insurance coverage, we find this helps in all situations. Please, take some time to review our staff page and familiarize yourself with the doctor. We look forward to meeting you and your child.
